I've been doing a lot of work with the Nashville Artist Guild over the past few months, primarily towards getting their new website up. Check it out! www.nashvilleartistguild.org.

I've updated my bio page with links to LinkedIn, FaceBook, and Twitter.

New Work

Check out my new series, "Singularities". The first six pieces were very well received, so I'll continue to add work over the next few months.

Size Matters...

Until recently, I felt that "Draining Heart", the piece that is currently shown on my home page, was somehow incomplete. I had made several prints on photopaper, framed them in different ways, but just wasn't satisfied.

Draining Heart is now on canvas with a simple gallery wrap and, at 36" x 48", is what it should have been from the beginning.

The stimulus behind this piece is very personal - and at the time very painful. Looking back I see that I was afraid to "put it out there". In this case, size absolutely matters.

July 8, 2008 Opening

Wow, have I been busy. Lots of new work, and some earlier ideas reinvented. All of this now on display at the Levine March Gallery (at the Gordon Jewish Community Center) through July 31.

The artist reception is set for July 8, 2008, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Don't miss it!

A special note of THANKS! to Dave Turner (www.digitaldave.com) for allowing me to print large format canvas using his HP Z3100. Dave is an incredible digital artist and you should check out his work!

Time flies

It's been way too long since I've posted any new work to my site. I could make excuses -- I had the flu, I've been too busy at work, etc. -- but the reality is we all have the same 24 hours in each day. I've let other things distract me. I've just committed to a major 2-person show (with my mother, a painter) in July 2008. I'll need 20-30 new pieces, so I've kicked myself in the rear and am back to work. I'll post more info on the show as the details come together, so be sure to come back again. I hope you like the new work.
